Fourth Doctor's Infinity Scarf | Enamel Pin
Other than the TARDIS, the item most associated with Doctor Who is the fourth Doctor's incredibly long, striped scarf. Here's a fun bit of trivia for you Whovians. When thinking about what Tom Baker should wear once he took over as the Doctor, he and the show runner decided that a scarf would be a nice touch. So a bunch of balls of yarn of various colors were dropped with a woman who had agreed to knit the scarf for the BBC wardrobe department. No one bothered to tell her that she didn't have to use ALL of the yarn so she just kept adding strip after stripe until the scarf was insanely long. Tom Baker of course loved it and the rest is history.
This hard enamel pin pays homage to this iconic scarf by twisting it into an infinity symbol. The pin itself measures 1.5 inches by 0.75 inches. Jelly babies not included.
